Canon 64 bit codec Windows 7 - is there one?

LR and PS work fine. It's just the OS Shell (AKA Explorer) that doesn't preview raw images.Cheers.

Ahhh, I get you. As far as I am aware, Canon (or Nikon) don't provide 64bit RAW codecs to allow RAW thumbnail previews in Windows. Have a look at this though: http://www.fastpictureviewer.com/codecs/

I use this and its awesome. It previews my raws when looking at the files, and they open in windows photo viewer where I can just right click and send to photoshop

Someone has produced a 64 bit codec. It's free to try and $20 to buy.

I use Arcsoft thumbnail viewer http://www.arcsoft.com/estore/software_title.asp?ProductCode=RTV
although this runs in 32bit on my (64bit) Win 7

some of my raw files will preview but others wont in windows, but i tend to use LR3 anyway so its no an issue to me...
