No
I was using this camera this morning and worked just fine then i took the SD card out to use in my nikon when i put it back to canon 60d it keep saying "card write protected". I tried couple more cards also registered as protected But when i tried the SD card in nikon it works just fine and no problem at all. All cards was reformat and still did not work. I am guessing the problem is in canon not on the SD card. Any suggestion ?

Are you saying that cards that haven't been in the Nikon also now report as write protected?

Try a low-level format in the 60D. Or try formatting in a card reader connected to a PC.

If you really think it is the camera, try resetting to factory settings.

I would not take one card out of one make of camera and put it into another brand. It would need formatting first.

Do as suggested above and try a low level format on the SD.

I would always switch off the body first before fitting/removing a card etc.

As above ^^ also not stating the obvious make sure the switch on card is not on protected.

That's not entirely true - if both are using the same filesystem then there's nothing to stop you moving it from one to another. However it might be that they use slightly different interpretations of the same filesystem that a PC-connected card reader can overlook but the camera can't. In that case it would need formatting.

I'd of thought the sd card would of had the canon file structure the a Nikon one then a canon one which may of caused the issue. The op never said they formatted so would this of contributed?

No, the directory structures would exist in parallel (we're assuming here that both the Canon & Nikon have similarly compliant filesystems - ie. both working to the same spec) - worst that would happen in that case would be that you would have one directory tree for the images taken in the Canon and another for the Nikon (at least that's how it works when moving a card between my Sony Cybershot, EOS & HTC phone - one directory tree for each)

In this case most likely faults: Something to do with the write protect on the SD card or something to do with the assembly that reads the status of the write protect in the camera (could be dust/similar). Obvious test - try another SD card... not expensive even if you don't have one lying around the house, and not a bad thing to own a spare so if one corrupts while you're out you're not in the situation of "take no more pictures" or "format the card and lose all the pictures you took up to now" - spare card allows you to keep shooting and worry about recovering the first card when you get home.

i 2nd that can be easy to flick the lock switch on these little devils
