Hi Guys- Does anyone get the 'Err' message coming up in their Canon 60D display from time to time? I haven't yet figured out what causes it but it locks up the whole system and the camera won't even switch off. The only way to clear it seems to be to disconnect the battery temporarily and then switch back on. Any ideas or solutions? Many thanks Brian

I would take it back and get it checked under the warranty.

Could be a number of things, depending on what the Err number is and when it occurs.
Does it always happen on the same lens? Or when you shoot wide open? Could be the lens failing to stop down properly or even mucky lens contacts.
Does it happen before or after the shutter fires?
Is it always with the same memory card?
