Canon 600D and YN-568 EX II

Hi all,

I already have the 600D and I'm looking for the 568 EX II as my first flash but I'm having trouble figuring out if I need triggers or not.

According to the 600D manual, the camera will wireless trigger an external flash without setting it's own flash but does the 568 have what's needed to take advantage of that? Basically I want to be able to set the flash down away from the camera and use all the features available to it from the camera.

Does that make sense or am I just talking pipe dreams?

i dont think you will have any issue, as long they are in line of site. But Yongnuo make some great little triggers that will be compatible with both, and will enable you to use full ettl, manual, hss (as im not sure if the internal wireless trigger enables all those features).

Thanks Stefche, going to try it with a 468 today and see what the limitations are
