Hi i lost my MKii and have a new MKiii being sent to me is it worth keeping the MKiii over the MKii only use it for family day out pics and the odd trip to the zoo or forest so maybe think of selling and getting a MKii back

Personally if I was in your place I'd keep it, that said if you're not going to miss the incrementally improved performance, you may well be better off sticking it in the classifieds and pocketing the difference (maybe £1200?)

I would but cant post in there no more as my ratio is out might wait till it arrives then decide

Night and day springs to mind when comparing the two personally I would keep it.
Regards
Richard

Keep it. Its a better camera all round.

swap it for my mkii ;)

Not really something anyone can answer for you really?

But for people that have used both just wanted to know would I use the benefits of the mkiii over the mkii for what I use It for
put it this way , I'm saving up for the mkiii & going to sell my mkii
AF points are a lot better & faster on the mkiii ,so this is why I'm going to change ...

Dual slots. better af, in camera hdr. better high iso. as youre not paying for it to me its a no brainer to keep.

couldn't say it better myself - Gaz J

I had the mkii & then purchased the mkiii.
I would happily do it again as the mkiii is a brilliant piece of kit
