Have been looking at getting another 5DMKII Body as a backup

Must Be UK Model, Must Be New, Must Be Reliable Supplier.

£1599.99 seems to be the best price on CameraPriceBuster,

BESTBUY Online UK Store are listing at £1699 Currently, but they have a 20% Online discount with Quidco at the moment (20% off pre VAT price)

So £1333 + VAT @ 20% = £1699

20% Discount on £1333 is £266 : £266 of £1699 is £1433 Delivered all in

Anyone else found anything better than this, the 20% Cashback offer is on till tuesday so have till then to make the order!

I think Kerso is around £1499, which is the cheapest I've found - I'm very tempted to buy one at the moment so have been looking around

so this looks a very good price, I'm pretty sure Bestbuy cashback is on delivery only, which is free, so not an issue

Does say in the restrictions the cashback is on the pre VAT price price, but if it goes through at full value even better :thumbs:

Hmm, That makes it even more tempting, if it tracks at 20% on the full price will be £340 off the £1699 (£1359 delivered for a UK MKII), dont think there will be any beating that, and with 14 days to take it back anyway if the cashback does not track properly cant really loose!

So £1359.99 for a 5d MKII, not a deal to be sniffed at, Yes it will be replaced later this year by a MKIII no doubt, but this sort of saving with certainly cushion any upgrade blues.

I presume you have to pay for it in full and then you get the money back after a few weeks with the cashback deals through quidco?

Yes you pay the full price and Quidco pays the cashback into your bank account when the transaction is validated,

I have used Quidco since 2007 and so far have had £2000+ Cashback from them, this is the biggist single amount for any one item though! Normally Quidco is very good for things you cant avoid buying like Car & House Insurance etc.
 
Topcashback is doing it for 20.2%, I think. Would be of interest if the 0.20% matters.
 
How long would it take for the transaction to be validated by Quido or Topcashback?

Dammit! Im looking at getting a 5dmkII this weekend but i can't afford the full price from them until friday :(

Thanks though, i've signed up with them anyway because im sure i'll use them in the fututre :)

Normally 30 days after the purchase date (They dont want you getting the Cashback and taking the item back for a refund and keeping the Cashback) :D

Althoug that does work with some places Cough !Jessops! Cough :eek: although at the 3% they pay its hardly worth the effort!

Bestbuy seems to track the same day you place the order, validate after 30 dyas and pay soon after, most people seem to say its one of the quicker payouts on Quidco.
 
I've just tried to order and not accepting order on any of my cards. Maybe a problem with their payment system too as when I click add on certain buttons I get server side error pages. Hmmm.

Yes I have just been reading on HotDeals that some people have been having problems getting orders through the CCard system with them today,

Order processing seems to be working as I just had a dispatch notice on the one I ordered (Out for delivery tomorrow)

WOuld try again a bit later, mayber a lot of people getting last minute orders in before the cashback ends at midnight!
