Canon 5D MkII Battery Sources

Doubt if there are any cheapies like 7 day shop etc, takes them a bit to sort sources out. You may find that battery life is much better in the latest camera bodies, I found that moving from a 1ds mk1 to a mk3, I really didn't need a spare even in cold climates.

Unless you desperately need one, I'd wait a while. The few clones available at the moment don't integrate with the body's intelligent battery management system but I'm sure the cloners will get it sorted soon.

I wasn't bothered about generic batteries (didn't know there were any out, to be honest), just interested in at least one spare to keep me going until the market catches up with demand & prices start to come down.
