Hi guys I'm after some opinions please

I have had a Canon 5D Mark III for about 2 years now and when I first got the camera I was amazed at how sharp the images were and how clear they appeared.
However now when shooting with the big lens (sigma 150-600mm sport) I feel that the images aren't always pin sharp like they used to be I'm unsure if this is a problem with the camera or the lens also noticed a little bit of this with my two smaller lens as wells (Tamron f 2.8)

Any thoughts or opinions on this is greatly appreciated

You can rule out camera shake by doing a low ISO, high shutter speed test - need a bright sunny day, shoot at something with sharp edges, at least 1/1000s.

If it's still not sharp, perhaps something has become misaligned in the camera body if it's happening with every lens.

Ok I'll try that as I've downloaded a lens calibration tool I will try it at some point generally I do shoot at about 1/1000 as I do aviation photography in sports photography it just seems a little odd that it's just got worse I did change them settings in the camera whether it's worth changing it back to factory settings

Having looked at a couple of raw images they seem to be more grainy or hazey if you get what I mean will have to do some digging into it

Could it be heat haze? Doesn't have to be too hot for that to be a problem with long lenses.

Regards...

Live view, zoom in, check the autofocus that way? Might need to use the AF adjustment setup for each lens?
