Canon 5d mk 111/pocketwizards

As some of you may know I have just recently bought the pocketwizard mini tt1 and flex 5 plus the zone controller ac3 and I was thinking of upgrading from my 5d mk11 to the mk 111...

I have read that there is a problem on sync speeds and that pocketwizard will need time to look into the 5d mk111 before they can come up with solutions...can anyone add any further info such as any other problems I would face now, and how long they will take to resolve this issue or is there any other problems associated with the canon 5d mk 111 and pocketwizards that we need to know.

I don't know if there are any 'problems' as such with the 5D3, other than every new camera must be configured to the PW system so it recognises the camera model and applies the cunning PW custom profiles.

Until then, you'll be able to use your PW Mini/Flex, but not get full functionality.

They're working on compatibility as soon as they can get the cameras in to develop the right firmware for. Will be a couple of months earliest before full functionality.
