Digial Rev sell it for £573.99

I'd love to get my hands on one for the same reasons but I dont have the cash spare at the moment and I think I would regret selling my 50D for a 550D.

I'm suffering that problem too but hopefully that can get sorted soon... I certainly wouldn't been keen to part with a 50D for one but it would be nice alongside...
