Canon 550d front rubber repair

So I got a new front runner for my 550D the double sided take that came with it was awful! So I’m just wondering what you guys would suggest? I can get some good gorilla adhesive tape from my local store as I’ve been told to not use superglue, what you guys think?

Where did you buy the new rubber? https://www.cameraspareparts.co.uk/canon-eos-550d-camera-spare-parts-203-c.asp have it with tape and they are usually genuine canon parts.

As for superglue, it could potentially shrink the rubber slightly and also if you need to take it off again for any repairs then it could get pretty messy.

It was off amazon, ive complained as the tape what came with it was awful!
