canon 5200mm lens

i wonder if sony will be releasing one anytime soon. Im sure i can scrape enough pennies from the piggy bank to order one :D
 
load of rubbish. i'm waiting for the MkII to come out :gag:
 
The distortion caused by heat rising would make this thing useless in summer, or anywhere even relatively hot surely.
 
Not surprising that it's a mirror lens, but i guess that basicaly makes it telescope rather than a camera lens, except for the camera mount on the back.
 
Canon would kick themselves if they shipped you a soft focussing one wouldnt they! :lol:
