Canon 50mm f/1.4 for £185 + £4p&p

That is a good price. Never heard of the seller before though.

I'm not going to risk it. The last time I bought a 'bargain' through Amazon, the seller was Pixmania, long story but they sent me a flashgun for a Nikon when I had ordered a flash for a Canon. And, to add insult to injury, when I returned the item, it had to go to France to be 'inspected' before any refund was authorised.:bang: It took me nearly a month before I got a refund.

Never again.

Think thats cheap, check out the 70-200 f2.8is from the same supplier!
Don't think I'll be handing over my credit card details though.

Am I missing something? It says 'Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.co.uk'

And if you check Camera Price Buster, Jacobs are selling it for £285.

EDIT Just re-read the original price - ooops

Must have been a Marketplace seller and it is now sold.

I wouldn't have any worries about buying thru' Amazon due to their AtoZ guarantee.

Sometimes when you buy from Amazon, the goods are supplied from other companies, hence my moan about Pixmania - I'd never buy anything from Pixmania.

I agree, but you always know who is actually supplying.

Curiously, sometimes companies sell stuff cheaper on Amazon they they do from their own shops.
