Canon 50d Self take kit

Im not sure the 50d has a remote shutter function built in but could anybody please point me in the direction of a wireless solution? Its for self-takes when I catch fish ;-) Wont get used much though [emoji23][emoji23]

Sadly no infra red receiver built in to the 50D, so you're left with third party options or the self timer.

I bought a wireless shutter release (youpro yp 860 tx) for my 50d from Amazon, it was about £18. It does everything I want it for.

I prefer a bulb release and camera bracket. Keeps both hands free for holding the fish. But I know lots of anglers who use a wireless remote.
