Canon 50D battery

I have just bought a Canon 50D and now need a spare battery.
can anyone recommend a good one for around £25 please.

I use imported chinese ones
they're not bad sometimes, but others are to be avoided.
I think the Phottix ones are the best of the cheap imports that I've tried

some people might steer you towards decent clones rather than ebay imports

I've been using 7day shop ones for about 5 years, got to be the best items I've ever bought for my 300D/30D/50D

I've been using 7dayshop batteries in my Canon's for the last four years and have not noticed any difference between them and the official Canon ones.

I have Uniross ones, 1500 or 1600mAh, very good, cost about a tenner.

I've been using a couple of 7dayshop BP511 clones for three years and not had a problem so far. They work fine in my 30D, 40D, 50D, BG-E2 grip and WFT-E3 wireless grip. Cost was £9.99 for two (plus delivery), at the time of purchase.
