A friend owns a 450D and took it to Peru a couple of months ago where it failed on her. I think it just "died", luckly she had managed to wangle a spare 450 body from Canon ( she knows people in high places) which she had taken with her which behaved with no probs. Her dead body was taken to Canon and nothing was found as by that time I assumed it had dried out and returned to life.
She has now emailed me from Borneo, yes she has lots of money!, saying the 450D has died again. This time she has my spare 1DmkII to use so she is reasonably happy.
The question she wants to know is, has anyone else had problems with a 450D in humid conditions, or has she just got a bad one?
Thanks.
Brian
