Alrite chaps,
Having some issues with a Canon 430EZ Speedlite, bought second hand about a year ago.
Recently developed a habit of not charging, requiring to be turned on and off (about 4-5 times) to become fully charged.
Inspection of the battery connections shows that one is covered in what looks like dry battery acid, I have tried to clean it with some vinegar and cotton buds but the problem comes and goes.
Again the connections looks quite worn (i.e one of the dimples the battery sits upon is fairly rounded, unlike the opposite one). Hopefully the picture below can shed some light on what I am trying to say, its the top metal battery contact.
Can anyone shed some light on the problem?
Cheers
Scott
