I have just bought this flash and i was wondering does anyone know how to get the canon 60d intergrated wireless transmiter to trigger the flash on the 430exii without the need of third party triggers?

Not trying to be rude, but - read the manuals?

The "wireless transmitter" is the pop-up flash and you will have to have line of sight between the master (camera) and slave (430EXII).

I don't know if this is the correct post to comment on, but I am having difficulty setting my 40d to rear sync flash once connected wirelessly through Yonghuo RF-603C to my 430 ex ii speedlite. Once i open the flash control menu on my camera, it says
" Menu not compatible or flash is off".
Can anyone help?! Thanks in advance!

RF-603 triggers are manual only so they don't support second curtain sync, HSS, ETTL flash control and so on on Canon cameras. They don't do anything other than wake and fire the flash.

ah i see! makes sense. Could you advise me on another set of triggers to use? Thanks again

I think the Pixel King triggers do it but check rather than take my word for it. They're substantially more expensive than the RF-603 though.

Ok thanks, i will look into it!

Its very easy, but difficult to explain. Basically the 430 needs to be in slave mode, and you can then change the settings in the cameras flash menu.

Best thing, is simply to read the two manuals.
