Can anyone tell me if the Quantum Battery 1+ connects to a Canon 430Ex11 OK & if so is the recycling speed significantly improved ?
 
It can be, with the right fake battery cluster and cut out a chunk of the battery door, but its 6 volts only so will not significantly improve recycle speed.

Better to get a 580exII and the Yonngnuo 8 cell battery pack at 350 or so all in. Remember, the battery 1+ is 200 quid plus the connecting cable....

its not really designed for it like the guns with the hv ports are so can get a little stressed :D
