Last week bought a second hand Canon 40D, but it seems to be missing a software disc from the bundle.

It's probably a little out of date, but I can only find updates on the net. Seller said he never had it either. What do you think is the best thing to do to get it?
 
What did you want it for particularly? Most (if not all) things on the disc can be done quicker and easier with other software or downloads.

Was there something specific you wanted to do?
 
I think he wants DPP, which you can only download updates for, you need the original discs to get it to work, the updates alone will give an error message.

You can get dpp from my first link. EOS utility is the one you can't get without the disks.
 
The solution that Rocket58 suggested does work

I recently made some copies to disc in case my originals got damaged/lost after some guidance from the more computer savvy TP members

Think its probably illegal for me to send you a copy though
