Canon 40D Shutter Release Cable

Can anyone recommend one? I used a 7dayshop one with my 400D and it was sound but I've just gone to buy the same for my 40D and they have sold out with no mention of getting anymore in! I have seen a couple on eBay for about £4 but I'm not sure I'd trust them! What do you use?

I bought a wireless one for my 30D/50D from ebay. It works well and has about a 50m range (bit longer than a wired one )

I think it's matter of personal choice, but, I prefer a wired release as you don't have the problem of having to use it around the front of the camera as you do with the infra-red releases.

I use an Ebay wireless one too with my 1Ds. Not infra red, radio. Works well.

one of the cheap ebay ones, I have both a long and a short, ADIT is the make and I got them from a German seller a while back.

I bought my Hama release for my 40D from 7dayshop - really pleased with it, and they have plenty of stock
