Canon 40D & DPP

Having just purchased a used Canon 40D I was wondering if any one could point me in the direction of DPP 3 (as I believe DPP 4 is not suitable for the 40D) ?

Also EOS Utility.

Did you not get any discs with your camera - the software is on there, upload it to your PC, then jump on to Canon Europe's web site and you can install the latest version from there - they are all free, but are an upgrade, not initial install. However, I believe there is somewhere you can upload the original software from Canon's site, if you don't have the disc, you need the serial number of the camera...

I'm sure someone will be along shortly and point you there, if not, let me know and I'll see if I can get you a copy of the original software...

Thanks for your help, seller did say couldn't find the discs, I use LR CC and PS CC so not sure if require them anyway.

Was trying to get them onto pc before camera arrives but looks like I may have to wait to get serial number if that's the case.

Hi Perry. You won't need them if you are using Lightroom. I Feel you may find Dpp to be a bit down market. I do myself use DPP and really like it but i'm in the minority

IF I still had them I would copy it for you, maybe someone can do just that, as said LR does the bizz but it's handy to have the old programs too... well I used to like having them on the shelf sort of thing.
