Hi,have recharged the batteries,when i switch on,no life,nothing ,have tried 3 different batteries all with the same result.Any ideas,

Give the battery door a push as you switch it on, it may not be detecting the doors closed correctly.

Other than that it probably needs a trip to Canon.

Sounds like the DC-DC board has blown, basically a fuse and voltage regulator

Went on my one after about 65K clicks, all in one repair price at Elstree including service and sensor clean was 152 quid
