Hello,

I got my first DSLR today. I got a Canon 400D with 18 - 55mm, an Canon EF 28-135mm and a 75mm - Canon 75 - 300mm lenses. All boxed and not a mark on them for £250.

I am happy with the camera although I think I need to learn how to use it properly. lol.

What are your thoughts on the Canon 400D?

400d is GREAT, but I would say that :D
 
That is a real bargain! Maybe not the sharpest lenses in the world, but I would have been happy with those as my first set. I bought my son the 400D and he is over the moon with it. You must be happy? :thumbs:
 
It is a good deal that you have gotten,
The 28-135 is a good lens, if it is a good copy. If you use it on a tripod, you MUST disable the Image Stabilisation, otherwise your image will be blurred (I could afford a new lens, if I had a £1 for each image I have wasted that way)
 
Thats a good buy :thumbs:, the 28-135 IS lens is a good lens and worth £180 ish on it's own. Enjoy :thumbs:
