Canon 35mm f/1.4 L - Anyone own this lens?

Maybe not the best examples of the shallow DOF it can produce but here's a couple of very quickly edited pics from the wedding:

Both shot at f/1.6

Will do once I've edited them :) 2 Bodies and 2 primes 5D MK III with the 35mm & a 6D with the 85mm f/1.8

First time I've shot a wedding with nothing but primes and never intend to go back to zooms!!!
How do you focus with 6D? I'm moving focus points in my 5Dmk3 and its more accurate wide open than focus and recompose. When I was using my old 400D with 85mm I had so many images out of focus. I was thinking of buying 6D as second body but not sure if I could switch between 2 different focusing techniques when I got used to my 5dmk3.

I never use centre point and recompose on either body, always nearest point and recompose as little as possible. The 6D outer focal points are fine most of the time, when it's not great light they really struggle but overall I find them pretty usable. I won't lie though the moment I can afford to upgrade it to the 5D MKIII I will because the focussing on that is instant no matter what.

Got the full wedding edited and there's a link to it in the people / portraits section. I'll put a link in here too but not sure if the mods allow that? If it disappears the full thing is on my site and also like I said in the other section on here :)

I absolutely LOVE these lenses and it's changed the way I shoot and I feel taken my photos to a new level. Only gripe I have is the 35mm gets a ridiculous amount of fringing that took me forever to remove from so many images.. I mean REALLY badly fringes! Still it's a small trade off for the sharpness, contrast and amazing DOF / Bokeh!

Good job mate. There are still some fringes left on some images but I know how hard it can be to remove them.
I wonder if Sigma 35mm also have problems with chromatic abberation.

Yeah tbh I removed it from all I noticed it in but knew there would be shots I'd missed. I've just realised it's possible to partly remove it in LR which I didn't know so that should make things a bit easier in future :)

Lightroom does great job in removing them but when they are really bad you need to be careful not to affect other parts of picture.
I wonder what was your way of removing them before you realised that Lightroom can do it (even in batches) :).

Yeah just noticed that trying to remove the magenta fringing from a pre-wedding shoot and the bride to be is wearing a purple scarf so had to abandon that idea and do it by hand in PS.

I have been removing it by creating a hue/saturation adjustment level, removing magenta, blue and sometimes red too... then inverting it and using a white brush to manually go around each part that's affected
