Canon 300d & 350d

Sorry if this seems a daft question but i`m completely new to dslr`s and have been given a 300d and bought a 350d.I was told the 300d was faulty and that no imaged appeared on screen but testing it today it takes pictures and shows them afterwards on the screen...

But do these cameras have live view or set the shot up through the view finder...?

Neither of those cameras have live view, live view was introduced from the 450D and 1000D up.
 
Cool thanks...so it looks like the 300d is working fine and can be sold on then..!!
