Yes, I have one of these, and it's probably the sharpest lens I own.. Incredible performance... Selling mine at present for the 200/2... But if you find one there, buy it because they are sharper than the IS lenses.... This lens is sharper than my 400 2.8....

I don't use it much at all really since I got the 400/2.8, but I shoot some show jumping, baseball, soccer etc... It's lighter than the 400 and you will love this lens... As for sharpness, your 35/350 will be no match at all... Good luck with it and hope to see some of your shots with it... What camera are you using with it?

My colleague uses one and its about as good a tele as you will find anywhere.
The only caveat is that parts and servicing are hard to find, and likely as not any you find will have been used by working photographers, not kept wrapped in cotton wool by hobbyists.
