Canon 24-105 F4 L Lens focussing issue in AF mode. Need advice.

Recently noticed that my walk around lens Canon 24-105 F4 does not focus in AF mode and wondering whether should it focus (considering it's a fixed F4) or perhaps it needs to be shown to a Canon service centre? Any advise is much appreciated.

Found the issue

Lens is good. Some setting in the camera preventing it to focus correctly, Defaulted the setting in camera and all is hunky dory.
