I'm guessing the Calumet batteries do both Canon 1D and the Nikon D3/4, it's just the end caps that are different, perhaps your one was not fitted correctly?
Well, it's great to know that now, with the advent of the latest consumer dslr with 24 mpx, we are all proud owners of the current Canon camera with the lowest megapixel count!!!!!....interesting, isn't it!!

At the end of the blog post, there is a video where you can see the photographer standing on a little ladder taking the sequence of pictures. A quick check for flying debris and he carries on shooting, great work.
