Hi All,

We're off to NYC for a couple of nights at the end of may... my lenses are Sigma 17-70mm Canon nifty fifty and canon 75-300mm USM. I've got the option of borrowing my brothers 18-200mm IS lens for the trip... I'm thinking that this will be a good walkabout lens for my 50d...

coming back on the QM2 so still think the 17-70mm and the nifty have a place in the camerabag for that leg of the trip... but for the day or so wandering around NYC then i then the 18-200mm is more versatile

thoughts and opinions please :o)

Take it with you, you have nothing to lose.
If you get a chance to go up the Empire State buidling, you'll get a nice view of Central Park
which is the biggest (if not only) green space you'll seen in the metropolis of NYC.
The 18-200mm might give you a bit more flexibility without changing lenses.

thanks for the replies... kind of confirmed what i was already thinking to be honest...

will post pics when we get back...

IMO, nifty fifty would be the best thing =]
