Hi got a guestion, I have

70-200 2.8l
100mml
85 1.4l
50 1.2l

Do you think 135 2.0 is worth a buy? It currenly cost about 600 but do be honest I never even tried this lens before for portraits/weddings.

Whats your opinion?
Regards

The 135 F2 L was my favourite Canon lens before I switched to Fuji. I'm not a pro so don't know how useful the 135 would be alongside the other lenses you have, but I always loved the shots I got with mine.

I think it was Digital Rev Reviews that got my attention to this lens but as I said before, never had chance to try it ...

Yes, absolutely. It is a fantastic lens. Despite what you already have, I think you will use this lens (perhaps more than you expect).

Buy it if you intend to use it specifically at f/2. It is capable of creating magic images. The rest is pretty well covered by your 70-200 which presumably also has a very important image stabiliser feature.
I'm considering one for myself, but notably my zoom is f/4. I also have 100mm macro L but they create very very different rendering.

Don't forget there is a more modern Sigma f/1.8 version out there and it is supposed to be even sharper, not that the old Canon is lacking in any way.

I agree with everyone, it's a fantastic optic.
There are downsides to it though. No IS, not environmentally sealed and it's too long for most indoor work.
Hence, I no longer own one.

In fact the no IS bit should be mitigated by the new in body stabilisation already present in one of the new R5/6 bodies or if you prefer a Sony. Eventually we will all migrate to the new gen making that lens perform better than ever before at least in terms of stability.

And the new version is going to cost like 1.5-2k?!
