Canon 100mm f2 £279

Saw this in Currys/PC World in Leamington, thought it was quite a good bargain as its brand new, boxed and fully warrentied. It wasn't that long ago they were closer to £450 so hoping someone can benefit.

It was on a yellow ticket though - as in end of line clearance. I wasn't aware of a new 100 f2 coming out so can only guess that Currys are going to stick to the more mainstream lenses.

You can compare prices at Camerapricebuster. Cheapest there is £376, so sounds like a bargain!

Cameraferret is also showing £376 so there's double confirmation of a bargain!

Just spotted something new that might be useful on that site too, price alerts? That wasn't there a few weeks back?

I'll have to register and find out what it is but grabbed this from the 'About us' page...

If that's what I think it is then that would be very cool indeed... hmmm I'm off to investigate!

Thanks for the heads up on this, was thinking about a secondhand 85mm 1.8 but for this price well worth the little extra. Have ordered it today
