Got an Email from tescos showing the Canon 1000D at £289 + £30 cashback inc kit lens

looked cheap to me, but:shrug:

I had to look because I have never seen a 100d, You might want to change it to 1000d.

i wont but it will get me out of doing anything for a while after the christmas season. And its a thanks to my mother for looking after me while ive had a broken leg...twice
 
Just paid for one yesterday. With VAT reduction (wooooo) it came to £282 plus the cashback = a fairly cheap slr, which is going to make one mother very happy :D
