Canon 100-400....wow

Just took my new 100-400L out for a road test this morning. Went to Rutland water and trekked down to the hide where you can see the nesting ospreys.
Just had a quick check through on Bridge and .......WOW.
Definately worth the dosh!! Its sooooo sharp. Focusing good too, tracking flying ducks and the ospreys. The ospreys were a bit too far away, but still came good. I'll post some later when Ive converted the RAW's. Outgunned in the hide ***....a lady with a Nikon 400 f2.8 with 2x converter on a gimbal mount. HUGE!!
Got to go out now, post later. I'm so happy!!

Glad you like your new lens! I heard, that it is fantastically sharp, even at 400mm.
