Canon 10-22

Just wanted to sing the praises of this lens. Not had it long.

I was one of those unfortunates that got a bad Sigma 10-20 and I just dare not chance another, so gathered the pennies, sold some stuff and got a good deal on the Canon 10-22. Love it lots and would recommend.

Not had much of a chance to put it through its paces but here's one I'm pleased with:

I'm not usually one for B&W Conversions, but I like it on this.

Just out of interest, what's the original like?

This is why I've been reluctant to get a Sigma. I'm just hoping to get a Canon for a reasonable price 2nd hand.

John - colour version for info - I still like it but feel that the striking shape formed by the curve of the bridge fits better in B&W - what do you think?

I like this a lot, particularly the B&W - I have this lens myself, and one reason I didn't get the Sigma was because of all the bad reports about focusing problems and the one-sided sharpness issues people were having. I know you will always hear the bad reports about anything, but you dont hear much about the Canon 10-22 being 'iffy'.
It is more expensive but it is slightly faster.
