Yes
Damn, cannot sleep tonight. I've got a flu which has kept me house bound all day, during my day off work and its my final day in work tomorrow as I start a new job on Monday.

I've been taking pills (medicinal before you ask) all day and can't use the trusted old method of wine to knock me out.

Don't know if its because of the flu or just worried about tomorrow as going to be waving goodbye to a lot of friends :'(

last night blues mate - Weekend coming and last day of work, so don't worry about lack of sleep! Write a couple of lines for a final day speech, sure to send you to sleep :)

Cheers ChewyUK, I work in a call centre it'll be thank you for working for us between calls and now get on with the job till you clock off.

Just looked at your website, some great pics on there.

I've not had a proper sleeping routine for over a year now, and it's so frustrating... so I know what you're feeling!

Best advice I could really give is what works for me...

I put the telly on or a film on. This makes my brain active, so I get tired. If I go to bed and there's complete silence, then my brain becomes active anyway - but in a bad way, because I start thinking/worrying about things that I've got going on tomorrow, next week etc!

Either that or read a book, or something?

I hope you drop off to sleep soon!

And best of luck with your last day tomorrow!

:)

Cheers Bean, might try the movie one, the alarm will wake me up on the sofa in the morning though :lol:

I'll remind u Neil, must people would not believe what u have to put up with. Looking forward to putting some names to faces.

Hi Gerald.
Suffered from this since my holiday in Papworth nov 2007, i was told by a friend and i tried Lavender roll on, one roll on each wrist, it works wonders, not all the time, but most of the time it does.
Then there's the time when nothing works, you sit up all night and then around 5.45am your eyes just won't keep open, you go to bed drop off, then minutes later that dam alarm goes crazy...

as you can see by the time on this post i have one of those nights.

good luck with the job.

Give up and about 1.45 and started watching tv, you guessed it woke up on the sofa tv talkingto itself.

Rocket, I'll remeber that for the future. Hope you managed to get to sleep

In work now and starting to drag, role on 4.15
