Im a newbie here and to digital photography...just bought the said camera but got a problem the instructions dont cover..(unless its me)
In video mode how do I set the focus to follow..if I move the camera or the subject moves the whole shot is out of focus. need to press shutter release each time (not good)
 
Set the focus to AI Servo?
 
Thanks a lot but...I should go into it more...you say set the al servo...well it seems the only way to that is to keep the shutter release button half down...I want to mount on tripod and leave...so as I show or move in front of camera it follows focus....I cant hold button down and record at the same time as im in the vid...I need my hands to show products etc.
 
I'm far from being an expert, but would a wireless shutter release, in conjunction with AI Servo do what you want?
 
Maybe...if I can lock it to hold the shutter R half way down....will look into it...and thanks for your help.
