Thanks for the opportunity to be able to pick your brains.
I have just been taken up with bird photography and would like to hear from anyone what equipment I should be starting out with. At present I have a Canon Powershot S3 IS digital camera but I am very disappointed with the results which tend to be out of focus. Should I be thinking of adding a tele photo lens or go for a digital SLR with a long distance lens.
