Canavan battery charging question

Anyone with a canavan out there who can help me with a question please?

If your canavan has a leisure battery in it, is it possible to charge it from your car, while you are driving?

I have a leisure battery in the back of my Defender, and I want to work out some way of charging it while I am driving. Any ideas?

as I recall, a properly wired tow-bar electric connector will do that very thing!

I think you need something called split charging. Have a look at a company called TowSure who are sheffield based and do mail order. If it is towing related they will stock it and they are very helpful and informative.
