Guy's in this video from about the 2 minute mark Mark Cleghorn is using a tri reflector with an ezybox and it's on a boom arm. Can someone please advise me where to buy one of these boom arms and will they all fit any studio lighting stand? Do they need anything to attach them to the light stand?

I can't see a link to the video but never mind...
If you're going to get a boom arm, make sure it's a good one - you don't want the thing falling over and injuring someone and wrecking the light, or breaking (they're a simple bit of kit but badly made/designed ones can allow the counterweight to fall off, which is very dangerous)

And make sure it's strong enough for the weight of the light and modifier.
And make sure the stand is weighed down with sandbags or similar.

Right, having dealt with the warnings, all modern flash heads will fit all modern boom arms, and the boom arms are fitted with a 16mm (5/8") spigott too, so they should go straight onto any stand heavy enough for them, so no problem there.

Lencarta have just brought out 3 new ones. This one is a massive pro one, complete with its own stand. You probably won't have the space for it but it's interesting because it has a Parallelogram action, which maintains the angle of the flash head when the tilt is adjusted.

And this page shows 2 others. They are in stock but there are no prices for them yet, hopefully they will be ready to sell early in the week. One of them is again a pro model with its own heavy duty stand but the medium weight model is probably right for most people and will be fairly cheap.

If you can stretch to the price, one of those looks very good... in fact let me go count my notes out now...

However, something slightly cheeper would be something like: LINKY

I have one of those, and provided you have space and not a huge weight on the end its pretty good. I find it a pain to position in a small space though (recommend a set of casters). Build quality is excellent however
