First of all, if this is in the wrong section, please move it as appropriate :)

Now, I am struggling to get my portfolio down to size. I've got it down to 35 photos and there are certain things that I want in it:

1) it must have my best shots.
2) it must show a range of shots which must include :
- at least one group shot (more than one car)
- at least one interior shot
- a range of cars, from the enzo and lambo to the land rover and zodiac

I have made a little gallery in Lightroom which has numbers. Please may you take the time to say which ones you think that I should either include or get rid of.

Any help is much appreciated

I liked them all except No2 with sort of selective desat look and No 26 from above. All the others are great. How many/few do you want to get down to?

Cheers

Ron

As I said above 2, and 26. Also 22 looks a little soft to me

Hope this helps

If I were to remove any I would remove 7,9,21,22 & 34. Saying that I wish I had the skill to take even those, so my opinion might not matter.

All very nice shots. For me though the one's that don't do much to improve the portfolio are: 4 (don't know - just doesn't do it for me), 9 (bit busy with the reflections, plus the passenger's expression :S), 17 (too much road, too little car), 21 (as 17) and 22 (just looks all blurred).

Hope that helps :)

I'm not qualified to critizise ,,, fabulous photos
but i'd lose (if i had to ) 1,9,12,13,17,20,21,22,34

i will offer you my wife and cat for the Landy! V5 needed.

seriously, some good pics there, how much from the camera and how much from photoshop or equivalent?

George don't take this the wrong way but I think there is a lack of variety amongst the pictures on show.

There are too many rig shots in the selections too.

Would have liked to have seen at least one possibly in the dark, one with wet ground, a more urban/derelict setting etc.

Also one of you better shots of the Speedster with the smoke around it isn't even in your selection.

My inexperience view....going by what I'd have put on my bedroom wall when I was younger!!
These wouldnt have made it!!

13 - 18 is a better shot of the bike
22 - Hedge in the way of the car
34 - too far away and too much field in the foreground - wouldnt be too bad if you could see the whole of car, that is the wheels and front splitters!! If the road had been higher, probably would have worked well!

And if you are still struggling to scratch a few more 26 is a bit meh! But its different!!

All the others a top notch!!
*Disclaimer: All in my very limited knowledge*

Good work. Ceryainly needs thinning out though. I've been told no more than 15-20 for a portfolio. Maybe try losing some repetition. Like 1 and 7 are very similar shots. 1 is the better of the two so maybe lose 7 since you've already shown you have that technique down.
