Can this be used as a diffuser?

Hi,

Is there any reason why this product

Wouldnt act as a diffuser? I know some of the reflectors you can buy actually list diffuser in the description.


If I wanted diffuser would I have to go for something like this instead

You need a cheap 5 in 1.
The first one you listed is silver on 1 side and white on the reverse.
The 2nd is a choice of 6 different products, one of which is a diffuser.

A 5 in 1 usually consists of a diffuser panel, covered with a reversible cover, usually giving 3 reflectors and a black panel. I can't link from the phone but search amazon for 5 in 1 reflector.

If you want to spend, lastolite probably do one too.

The first one is silver but appears to zip off. Once its zipped off is that not now acting as a diffuser?

to be honest the description is sketchy, I think you would have to ask them.
