My Son got a bad comment from a teacher in his school planner so I took his Xbox off him for a week, we're on day 4 so far and it's like his life is over.

it's not the perfect punishment though as him asking if he can have it back every 10 minutes is really getting on my tits

You see thats the new modern form of punishment. In the old days you would ground them and that was effective. We are now living in the digital age and being grounded won't work simply co's the kids are exactly where they wanna be, in their room on the xbox or pc. So disconnect the internet, take their phones off them and tell them to go outside, its crazy but its now the complete reverse of what it used to be is the effective punishment.
