I went to the cinema last night last minute which meant either waiting an hour or seeing The Mechanic
so I went in, it was about 1/2 full, audience mostly 15-35 which given the subject wasn't surprising.
I sat down in the cheap seats ( too tight to pay extra to sit 1 row further back)
The lights dim and the ads come on, then it starts with the bloody phones, light on, light off, 5 minutes, light on light off.
I thought they'll stop when the film starts, after all they've paid £7 to get in
does it *******s, I ended up sat 3 rows from the front so the constant distraction like a disco glitter ball is at least 3 rows behind me.
has the attention span of the average teenager dropped to 5 minutes or does facebook rule their lives so much they have to constantly check in case one of their friend has got another spot
