can someone tell me if this tripod is ok

I've got it's big brother the 700 dx pro and love it to bits, very well made and rock solid I would think the 400 is much the same just a little lighter and smaller.
 
P.S. not sure it would be suitable for your 100-400 though, how heavy is it?

i have taken Steeps advice and ordered a 700DX pro, and also a tamrac 5575 expedition backpac, heres hoping it all comes together.

ps, fotosense site was playing up with the payments though..
 
fotosense is a decent site, well recomended. also handy when you like 2 mins away :)
