I too have a USB floppy drive, though I wouldn't have thought it would work for DOS. Back in the days when I still needed it, windows NT could not use USB, and I had to run it because the software we were using could not be run reliably under W2000.
Limited Editions were the ones bundled free with cameras/scanners/printers/etc. They removed some of the functionality you got in the paid-for edition, hence "Limited".
