Hello Everyone I have just joined and have a very limited knowledge of photography so this will probably be the start of many crys for help!. I have just purchased a used Nikon Coolpix 8700 and I am trying to find out if it is at all possible using the USB cable it came with for me to connect it to a laptop to enable me to programme it for Self takes eg in the same way a Bulb release works on an SLR. The camera came with no manual or Discs some I am in the dark so to speak as to its Functions so if it is possible could someone please let me know what I would need in order to set this function up ie discs etc. Many thanks
