right i brought a lens on amazon a 50mm 1.8 which was great, until my husband drop it nothing major but enough to brake it. The focus ring came out.
So off i went to buy another at the digital deport in Stevenage about a month ago.
I took my old lens to see if it could be fix but would cost as much a new one so i brought a new one.
I had not used it until the other day i put in on the camera and went to focus and couldn't i looked at the lens and it has happen again the focus ring broken!!! i thought i had the old lens on so i got the old one out and no that was also broken!!
I haven't dropped it or anything haven't even got it out the box.
Now if i take it back they are going to think its the old lens i showed them!!!
What shall i do?
 
Take both lenses back and explain what happened, i am sure they will believe you:)
 
you're 6ft, you're blonde...you have a better chance than most :)
 
in your mules perhaps...choose a wet day and wear a bonnet ;)
 
Surely if it had been dropped it would show signs of damage apart from the focus ring.

no harm in trying , i wouldnt leave without a refund :lol: im sure they will belive you though when you show the lenses
 
I did it!!! I took it back, walking in the shop does funny things to me!!
They gave me a credit note as they didn't have a 1.8 left so i ended up smiling very nicely at my husband and got the 1.4 :thumbs:. I was like a kid at Christmas.
