First time photographing a Christening had a good day and took some good photos, but these are 2 of my favourites.

Can they be recovered??

Thanks

If you'd have shot RAW then the chances are both shots could have been recovered sufficently to make pretty decent images. Although one is well under exposed and the other well over they're not so far gone that you can't pull back a lot of the detail.

However if you only have a JPG to work with then you may be able to improve them slightly but you'd only be (excuse the terminology) polishing a turd!!!!

Thank you so much Kev:love: its great, probably the most important photo of the day and I got it wrong:bonk::cuckoo::(

Is the over exposed one able to be improved??

I'm afraid not. I tried, but there wasn't enough detail in the grass and coat for me to do anything. Maybe someone with more experience can. I'm an absolute learner at this..

I tried too, just too over cooked.
