Hi, Im after some advice, bassically im off travelling for 3-4 months across malaysia and Indonesia then flying to NZ were we are going to be living for a while. Im wondering whether its worth gettin a monopod for the travelling? they look really good for stopping camera shake, and pretty useful for long treks. We're going to be trekking in the rainforest in Borneo and also doing the mountain walk to the top of Mount Kinabalu. Could anyone recommend a decent monopod for travelling? Ive looked at the Manfrotto 679B and also the compact version however im not sure whether this would be Insufficient to support my 7D with a 70-300mm telephoto lens on it? any advice would be brilliant, thankyou in advance
